Leadership & Instructor Program in Bozeman
The Leadership & Instructor Program is for black belts who want the highest level of training available at Cunningham's Martial Arts, along with the opportunity to learn how to share the benefits of Traditional Taekwondo with others.
Beyond Your Own Training
Leadership students get advanced self defense, tournament preparation, and weapons instruction, plus responsibility beyond their own training — assisting with rank tests and tournaments and participating in extracurricular team-building and community service projects. Several times a year, students also join online training sessions with our Grandmasters — a level of access most students never get.
A Strong Competition Team
Cunningham's fields a strong competition team, including current GTMA Global Champions, alongside students who compete locally in Montana and Idaho just for fun, and students who don't compete at all. Students who want to compete get dedicated tournament preparation.
Learning to Teach
Students help judge rank tests and may contribute to our social media content, building real teaching and communication experience alongside their own continued training. Those who complete all three instructor levels may qualify for a tuition waiver in exchange for teaching assistance — and the organization and communication skills built along the way are valuable to potential employers long after training.
